How is this different from "Complete Edition"

Anyone know? on GoG there is "Icewind Dale Complete", and I have that, but not sure if it's the same thing as this "Enhanced" edition or different? What are the differences?

GoG IWD Complete is vanilla year 2000 IWD + the expansion.
Enhanced edition is a remastered version of the base IWD game + some new features/contents + the expansion.

Do they still sell the old game at GOG? Can't find it anymore in their shop. Just IWD 2 Complete, IWD Enhanced Edition and the IWDEE OST.

No, looks like it has been removed from the store, presumably to push IWDEE.

I heard some things about bugs in the enhanced version and some changes to the game that original fans didn't like? Did those bugs ever get addressed or was it abandoned?

I'm one of the original fan (I played the vanilla game in 2000) and I liked all imporvements of the EE edition, but this is subject to everyone taste, mine could be different from your...

I don't think game has been abandoned. Devs usually apply platform updates to all BG, BG2 and IWD games and a new update for BG is rolling out as Beta soon.
