Where is Icewind Dale 2?
When will Icewind Dale 2 appear? Why is this game not in Steam?
Sorry for my bad English.

I don't think it will come to steam at all or at least not any time soon.
You can buy it on gog.com though and if you want to use it on steam, steam has an option to let you start any game through steam

I am not going to register for GOG. And never will be.

Then you probably won't be playing IWD2.
Any reason for not registering there?

If Icewind Dale 2 is available on Steam, then I will honestly pay.

I don't follow your logic.

I do not want too many different launchers on my PC. I have only Steam, Battle.Net and Uplay. I do not need anything else! Enough!

Don't want to bother you anymore, but gog.com doesn't require a launcher, it gives you the launchable .exe file (and you can add any games you own to steam and then start them with steam if you want to). One of the reasons the site is so good.

No GOG! I will never be to register on GOG! I do not need it!

Icewind Dale 2's source code is lost, so it won't get an Enhanced Edition. Not sure why the originals didn't get onto steam, but there you go. Will probably never happen.

Here is a collection of mods/patches that make it run perfect on new widescreen computers. I tried to upload it to ModDB but it didn't work for whatever reason. All of them combined smooths out the framerate (for me, it was abysmal before the Wine3D3 emulation), supports widescreen resolutions, and of course CDtweaks. I tested it with my CD version and it works superbly on Windows 8.1 (AMD)(1600x900)
It took me two days to find out what works and what doesn't, through many sites on the internet and have finally found the correct combination. I can't tell you enough how annoying it was but here it is!
P.S. GOG isn't bad imo, but I wouldn't recommend posting your pirating habits on Steam as that will get you banned pretty quickly.

I do not understand. What disturbs to take Icewind Dale 2 and get the source code from here? The question is rhetorical.

I'm not sure what you've written there, but if you want to find out more: https://www.kotaku.com.au/2017/07/nobody-can-find-the-source-code-for-icewind-dale-2/

It is very sad... (*-_-)

He was talking about Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition not being possible because of lost source code.
Why Icewind Dale 2 isn't on Steam isn't known I think.

I'm just saying an EE was the best chance of it getting on here. The licensing might be an issue now compared to when it was put up on Gog, given the nature of the companies involved and D&D
