Problems with multiplayer

Hi, just bought this game and I and my friends are unable to connect to the multiplayer. We cannot even see servers or anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

We're continuing to fix the situation. We got more progress with more players being able to play in MP, but it is still not fully fixed.

But its strange that:
If i try to host a server my friend sees it, can sometimes join but it wont launch and he gets kicked out of the game a couple minutes later.

Hamachi doesnt work as it just keeps the same message for all eternity.

yeah thats exactly what is happening to me and my friends aswell. we are 4 friends and it doesnt matter who creates the game, sometimes we are just connecting to server for eternity, sometimes few of us can join but not all and sometimes when we are all in the lobby it crashes us, we actually never were able to start the gameplay

This sounds like another issue, something that we're still investigating (as it usually fixes itself after several hours). The initial issue - "Finding the network devices for this host..." is fixed.

Hamachi has been working fine for my buddy&I on both IWD&BG Multiplayer, quite frankly we find it even more stable than when we used the regular servers, and have even been talking of using Hamachi to co-op other games with limited servers

Seems like this is going to be a persistent problem for a while longer, you guys might be better off troubleshooting your issues with Hamachi if you can't wait anymore; I can help you as much as possible, but I didn't run into any issues, just downloaded, created&connected

@FATALL - why can't you play? This was your first post in the thread. MP games are up and running according to the games' servers.

@BrockSamson we tried Hamachi aswell - it just doesnt work, crashes this 1 on 10 times we actually get into lobby as 4 players

Other reasons might be in action: Firewall/UAC, different mod setups.

Firewall is deactivated, also we have no mods installed, fresh buy and fresh run for all of us

We are on same hamachi, same game language, fresh install, not played before on those computers. Tried switching hosts, but it's always same issue. Sometimes 1 person can join host and game can be started, but when more people join it either crashes for the host, meaning everyone crashes, or freezes/crashes for the people joining, or they get kicked.

We have fixed the "Finding the network devices for this host..." issue, so MP games can be played again.

We've also noticed that players sometimes report they can't connect to other games.

Our dev team has just created a list of instructions to make you able to connect to MP games if you are experiencing troubles.
