Fragile Glass challenge sucks
It's nothing but a random time sink. There's no way to get better at it. If it decides you're going to eat dirt one away from winning, that's all. Terrible.

The higher the goal the lower the probability of finishing it as well. At a 1% chance to fail it is a 0.24% probability to succeed at 600 glass. That is just for the first one. It took me a week to finish that first challenge level now I am on the 700 one and that has a 0.088% probability to succeed. I heard that a lot of people save scummed it and it looks like it has been seeded now for the runs. I don't think this challenge is possible to fully complete until you get Intero times below 0.1 seconds now or extremely lucky.

wait forever or savescum with speedup if you are really unpatient.

if its now seeded. my lord. some people will need months of ingametime to even get the first one completed.

It does seem to not be increasing its bonus at all. I should be getting a guaranteed +10% bonus every second to the generation from boss defeats, and upwards of +20%. There's no information about how any of the functions work - not much information *at all* really, we've had to badger them to actually say what the hell the battle page items are called - but the fact it's staying steady rather than speeding up or slowing down seems *suspicious*.

the bonus you get cuts out so early. total garbage design.
in short each of the bosses gives limited bonuses that are instantly reached.
you cannot in a human life beat that first challenge before reaching celestial atleast.

So both of the last two challenges are complete horseass, great.
hey, looks like Fragile Glass got updated since this thread started. It now starts from one higher every time it fails, so eventually you WILL get it.

Mine's already starting at 250+

Yeah, was in one of the last Updates.

glad i'm getting my start on it now, then.
starting at +1 glass per break means that, if you are *extraordinarily* unlucky in that you generate the most amount of glass possible without crossing the 600 threshold before breaking every single time, you'll spend about 100 hours on the first tier (assuming your intero generator time is 2 seconds)
that's... pretty rough, but at least it's guaranteed.

the break chance of 1% means that, if you break about once every 100 glass generated and you break 500 times to reach a starting glass of 500, the average time to reach 600 glass is almost 28 hours (also assuming an intero time of 2 seconds)

this challenge is also made a LOT easier by the fact that we now have offline rewards. specifically, the x128 time bonus that builds up to a ~4.5min timer that you can start and pause at will. it basically promotes a "play for 10 minutes then close until tomorrow" playstyle.
Just as a note, it looks to me like the offline time tops out at nine and a half hours. Specifically, 9 hours and thirty six minutes. Any more than that and it's just completely wasted.
I wish I had waited, it seems like they made it easier. It basically took leaving the game on all day every day for...I don't know how long, but it's finally done. Now I'm on Logarithmic which is also taking forever.
