How to use the store to actually purchase anything?

So I attempted to purchase the Ultimate Edition of the game as an early Christmas present to myself, except clicking on it in-game did absolutely nothing. No popups in game, no browsers opened up, nothing at all happened as if my clicks were not registering. Then as a test I tried to click everything else in the game store and absolutely nothing besides the free pack and money usage was working for me. Is there some kind of trick to make that work, or is that a bug, or what?

I also cannot purchase the ultimate edition as every time I try it just stays on the purchase screen even after the small hotfix/update on the 2nd

Still not fixed in the January Update. Stopped playing the game now and will only return once this is sorted. Pretty poor by the devs tbh.
