This game is not even working!

Tried it few months ago, and it didn't lunch.
Yet, I tried it few minutes ago, and it still doesn't work!
Wassup with this game? It sure looks amazing, but what's the point if you cannot play it?

I just noticed that i have same problem. Wonder what has changed or something because this game was working 100% long time ago.

Steam and the company itself aren't looking at the issue.

Copy the Steam.dll file from your Steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and paste it in your Zombie Bowl-O-Rama folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zombie Bowl-O-Rama)

Once this is done, launch Steam and play the game. (The file locations are for default installs on 64-bit versions of Windows)

Just tried that, doesn't work.

go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, right click, properties, compatibility and run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp sp3.

I gotta say, that's one messed up game.

yeah, not working. The first time i tried starting, some bowling ball got covered by green goo, then went on to a blackscreen that needed a hard reboot.
Trying it again yields no result. Starting it shows a process for a moment in Task Manager that instantly goes away again.

Tried to copy steam.dll into Game folder. (Like, seriously, why does THIS game need that done manually?)
Tried to activate compatibility mode, and start as administrator. (Like, seriously, what is wrong with this game?)
Did not try to deactivate UAC. (Well, there's a line i won't cross. Any piece of software coded so crappy it won't work unless i do all those steps including disabling UAC is a security risk in itself in my book).

If i had not gotten it for like 50 cent in a groupees bundle i'd be majorly pissed about this.

Sorry people are having issues. Just want to say that this worked when I installed it. Windows 8.

It's just sad that MumboJumbo isn't taking care of this thread, or neither the problem. Seems like they are just making money over a broken game, still freely published on Steam. It's quite frustrating to see that goes without any fixes.

As others have stated will not work on windows 7 64 bit I have tried moving the steam.dll and it refuses to run. I have tried making it work under windows xp and nothing. Update I stand corrected I did have to restart steam and click on the play button of steam however now its working.

At least i managed to fix launch issue. Had to remove Steams appcache folder. But now my problem is that after playing few mins, PC reboots without any warning.

its not starting anymore for me, after i updated my AMD drivers today. before that, in the morning, it worked nicely. i will try reinstall it :/

oh well, i acutally got it to work again, after i copypaste that damn steam.dll. thanks for the tip!

We will try our best to resolve this issue, but need computer specs and normally a dxdiag to figure out what is causing the error. Sorry we didn't catch this in the forums back in July!
