So I've only just recently finished playing this absolute treat of a visual novel with the satisfaction of obtaining all endings and collecting all images the game had to offer (I'd say it took me roughly over an hour to complete the game in it's entirety).

While the English translation was somewhat awkward for me to read, it didn't deter me from the overall story of the game. In my opinion, although it felt as though the story as a whole was incomplete; riddled with a couple of minor plot-holes here and there; I'd say that the writing and the visuals were still fabulous - especially for a free game to boot.

Growing up, Bloody Painter was by far one of my favourite creepypastas, so it was a relief(?) to discover that I still held some sort of fondness for this particular character. However, coupled with the fact that BP was also voiced by Easton was an unexpected but welcomed surprise. (I believe playing this visual novel might have rekindled my unhealthy obsession for this gentlemen - especially since my ears had the honour of being graced by Easton's voice).

All in all, I'd say this game was well worth the wait and my time. It's a shame though, how short-lived it was as it lacks any replayability. Although this game is definitely one I'd play again, I'll never be able to replicate that initial excitement and surprise I experienced while playing for the first time.

All critiques aside, I just have one teeny tiny issue that's been plaguing the back of my mind since I finished the game - an itch that needs to be scratched if I may say.

As an individual who loves unravelling every aspect of a story, I can't help but wonder what the note in the lock-box means. For those who love exploring every nook and cranny, you might've come across a lock-box sealed with a number combination whilst investigating the lounge room. Unlocking the box yields a note with a bit of an odd inscription on it.

I've tried searching for what it means but the results were fruitless. I've even attempted to limit the search by specifying that it was from the 'Bloody Painter Dating Sim', but since the game has only been released for less than a week, there appears to be no discussions about it either.

The note doesn't seem to hold any significance in the story (I initially thought that uncovering the note would reveal another dialogue option when you're conversing with BP during breakfast, but the options remained the same), but I'm convinced that the developer wouldn't have placed it there unless there was some sort of intention.

If anyone happens to have an idea of what it means, please do the honours of satiating my curiosity and tell me!
