Controller Issues and Typos
I use a Dualshock 4 controller, and came across a problem wherein I can't change worlds via the controller. The touchpad button doesn't respond and I have to exit to the main menu, use a keyboard, then reload my save to switch worlds with the keyboard instead, just to then exit back out to the menu, and reload again to go back to my controller.

There should also be a way to remove a player without returning to the main menu, unless I'm missing something.

There's also a major typo in the menus when you spend your sushi points. Instead of the text stating "purchase, buy, spend points, etc.", a message pops up when you buy items/abilities/costumes that instead says "Delete Save Data". Might want to fix that.

We're currently investigating this, but in the meantime, Try going into Controllers in Options and rebinding to see if that helps.

Unplugging the controller should do the trick!

Thank you for this. We'll report to the devs!

Rebinding doesn't do anything for me as regardless of what I choose and save, the game defaults to the touchpad on the Dualshock and no button on the controller opens the map.

I actually might have just found a fix. I turned on Steam Input for the controller, and in game, the Share button on the Dualshock opened the map menu. I guess Steam Input is required to be enabled for full controller support.

That's great! I'm glad it works now. That said, we'll still look into it to see if it's a bug. Thank you for reporting!
