Critical display problem with brightness...

The game just can't have the correct (wanted) brightness, which I've for sure set to the maxima from the in-level top-left button.
My current situation is, after I enter ANY level, the brightness ALWAYS quickly fades from brightest to very dim......which annoys me a lot. Can't see ANY of the to-be-arranged Sigils in their top-right slots! Not until I drag them to the center to recognize their shape by reflection.
No problem with my laptop's global brightness setting though. Always set to the max.

Problem solved...
Was just poking around the game installation directory, seeking for some related config files.
Under the directory "......\steamapps\common\Sigils of Elohim\Sigils_Data\" you can find a "config.ini" file, and by changing its value to "ImageEffects=0"......
TADA! in-level brightness no longer fades. Finally!

Had this problem. Thought it was some kind of HDR bug.
Changing config.ini solved the problem. Big thanks Variosox137!
The exact path to the file was, in my case; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sigils of Elohim\Sigils_Data\config.ini
