In a nutshell, it's Harpoon 2/3, with a graphical and UI over-haul, better performance, improved sensor modelling, mobile ground units, and with rates of turn and acceleration added for aircraft and vessels.
Comparing CMANO with Harpoon 2 is like comparing Falcon 4.0 with F-15 Strike Eagle III.
Amen bro!
My plan is to convert the 'WW3 in 1985' battleset for Harpoon3 into a campaign for Command:
{ССЫЛКА УДАЛЕНА}http://www.harpoonhq.com/harpoon3/scenarios/plot-ww3in1985.html
...but first I need to finish the Advanced Strike Planner, since those scens will be centered on carrier air ops :)
Then again, there are ca 300 scenarios available for Command currently? So should be enough to keep players busy for a while.
I remember wondering the same years ago... remakes of the Harpoon Battlesets & Scenarios. Would buy them instantly. Why not considering to do that? It's an insta-buy and very rich... full of interesting content. For now... I'm still happy to have bought Harpoon Ultimate Edition.
