Just to ask the obvious question, are the crusaders within range to lock up the targets?
The missile just doesn't work at all, it seems.
Is there any manual on this missile to make it work step by step somehow?
It should be able to detect and lock a MiG-21 coming in, front aspect, on the same altitude, yet it does nothing. Nothing at all.
How do I post a save file here?
Can you upload the file to any public file host (or your GDrive, if you have a Google account) and provide the link here?
Flight Hammer42 is the one in question coming down on four unidentified bogeys (migs) trying to protect the SH-2.
I'd really like to continue that awesome scenario with working missiles :(
Besides, as far as I'm seeing this - StoicFrog Gaming has had the same problem in his videos two years ago:

We probably won't be able to investigate this for a while yet, as we are literally in the middle of releasing CMO. Once the dust settles, we'll be able to dig into this properly.
Thanks for your patience!
The AIM-9C should be all-aspect but there's something very wrong in it's programming.
You can say I'm playing Yankee Team on HARDCORE because of the sole ability to score gun kills. :-P
C'mon! I still have seven hours to go from the last save game and some effective missiles would be gold right now.
This is actually a 3-year old bug. It's been reported in Matrix forums in 2016.
Microsoft guys are still finding and fixing Win95-era bugs in Windows 10.
Software development can be like that :)
