As per the title. Thank you!

I had another threaqd open about this topic. There is supposed to be a cargo unload command in the unit actions menu, but I couldn't find it. However if you create a cargo mission they should unload. If they're not paratroops the helo will have to land first.

How do you land a helo then? I can't land them nor can I unload the troops....haha.

All aircraft require an airfield of some description to land. If you have helicopters you can use:
Support Plt (Helicopter Expeditionary Refueling System)
Which is also mobile, so it's a good choice.

First off make sure you have selected a cargo capable loadout. Then load your cargo via the cargo menu. After that if they are paratroopers or parachute capable then you can unload them in mid-air. Otherwise land them at an airfield, then there is a cargo button on the airfield Unit Status window. Click that, and select what to unload/load.

There are several videos on YouTube showing this function along with multiple forum threads at Matrix if you need step by step instructions visually.

Thank you. I was supposed to land troops from help on a mission objective which wasn't an airfield and even if it was it was an enemy airfield. COuldn't find the unload menu nor could I order the helo to land through alt and throttle control.

Perhaps it's a scenario before Chains of War. If so, it is likely to have a named RP that you must go to. Hover there and it will unload the cargo. Telling us the name of the scenario will help if you are still having issues.

Thank you. Will try that!
