Problems with multiplayer

guys, tell me what needs to be done for multiplayer to work. I can't connect to each other via steam and LAN

Is it a case of you simply not seeing any lobbies?
If you're trying to find lobbies, sometimes the Steam filters (based on the setting for Download Region for some reason in the Steam client) just breaks and doesn't show anything that isn't in your nearest location. Try changing the Download Region to whatever is closer, it could help.
