List of successful Abyss solo builds
Hello! So apparently a few persons there have managed to beat all three wanderers in solo..

I'm curious, which build did you take? Any particular playstyle guideline to share? Which game mode did you play?

Armor builds are the new meta.

It took a full team of 189's. I am close to finishing a solo.

You more or less must have quite a bit of armor protection to survive or play very cautiously.
I'm currently reworking my build since I find it too squishy.

I'll reply back in this thread when I've tested my build a bit more.

I agree on the armor build meta. I'm getting more chests now (I have 8 waiting to be opened now :D)

Silver Bullet + Phobos Marine + Occultist Gloves + Unholy Bag + Magnum.

There's one thing that's the deciding factor though: Quad Damage. Yes, I die from two hits. But so does everything else. With a lvl7 Railgun Trinket it only takes maybe four shots to take down a Wanderer. I got 8 Abyss Chests so far using that method (solo).

That's pretty much the same thing I've been doing for Unearthly initially. You just don't have enough damage to kill the Rotten (especially Clowns and Faceless) with the previous tier Trinkets, even when they're maxed out. Quad Damage means you actually have a chance. The drawback is obvious though: one mistake and you're screwed.

If you manage to get your hands on a Railgun, you're set. Hope for a bit of ammo (or a Gemini Laser!) and it'll carry you through the level (provided you've got enough Ghost Ammo).

I play on Medium levels, not sure how much that affects anything.

AC up for grabs in my public game right now. 6/7 bms, no enemies, all 3 AW dead. 3 spots. If you don't mind lagging.

Thanks for the post :-) i'll be trying this out myself with a shotgun version of the build

Excuse me, wasn't Quad Damage meant to be a challenge on Abyss rather than the only way to beat it???
