DEMO • first look & thoughts

Some thoughts I had while playing:
1 - Power Pylons should have power lines connecting up everything in the network, i think it would add to the aesthetic.
2 - The power grid should be easier to discern, the flat white boxes on the ground are hard to see.
3 - Units need more commands. Attack move, Follow, Support, Patrol, and the ability to queue commands would be helpful.
4 - Building Walls is a chore. It should feel nicer to drag and drop them, placing them one at a time takes a long while.
5 - I'd love to see other companies that compete with you. AI or player controlled.
6 - Multiplayer. Other players could control the other companies or someone could control the Calyx.
7 - There should be multiple resources you are fighting over, adding more resources could increase the complexity of production chains.
8 - There should be more varieties of Alien life, maybe different types of Calyxes would form when they develop on different resource fields. The Calyx should be able to send "Tanks" of its own against you.
9 - Interactions with the Calyx should be developed, maybe Calyxes should grow in blooms and cycles like the tide, maybe there should be a Calyx farming faction that has symbiosis with it.
10 - Air Units would be awesome but potentially game breaking.
11 - Ground Troops could be implemented, like flame troops. They could capture Command, Objective, or Resource points that Tanks wouldn't be able to reach. The Calyx could use spores or something to infect them and turn them against you.
