Just gave it a go and here's my thoughts
Just wanted to say great job on the demo and here's my thoughts on it.

So, it's obviously a Creeper World -esque which is what caught my eye first. But where as creeper world had a fluid like creeping system, with it being plants in this one I feel like choke holds shouldnt be as effective. Vine creep up walls, life finds a way, yadda yadda.

I skipped the tutorial and went straight for the demo mission and started in the middle as suggested. But then all I needed were about 4 or 6 machine gun turrets to keep the pink creep back from the top choke point. This let me concentrate on taking out he green stuff first. After getting my defenses up though, my first set of mines depleted and then I kinda just had to wait for AWHILE why i slowly built up the blue stuff. This is also where I noticed a bit of an issue on my end where if I sped the game up, the explosions from tanks and such took too long to disappear before the next round fired so then I had a build up of delayed explosions animations and the game slowed down to a chug.

If there was a mechanic introduced later in the game to keep the player from turtling up it might help the game from turning into a slow slog of reverse creeping back with tanks to finish the level. I also kinda felt that at a certain point I was just waiting on enough resources to unlock artillery tanks. A couple things that might help the player is knowing how much solar panels produce and how much electricity each building takes. If that's already in there, then I totally didn't notice cause I skipped the tutorial.

All in all, a solid 2/5 for a small project like this. Try to add a few other mechanics some other folks have mentioned to spice things up a bit and tighten up some code or something cause after a certain point the game started slowing down for me and the game isn't graphically good enough to warrant that.
