I'm using mouse and keyboard. I wasn't aware of the shortcut bindings, but I'll look into them.
In all likelihood, I'll just need to play a bit more to get a proper sense of how everything works. As I said, multitasking has never been my strong suit, but I'll learn.
To be clear, I don't think it's too difficult, I just need to, as the kids would say, get good.
like every game once you get used to the bindings and the flow of combbat it becomes much easier, specially so since it's a rythm game and instead of having to learn complex enemy attack patterns like in a souls you just have to listen to music.
there are also many tricks you can do to win much more easily, for example, you can spam push laser into drones and kill most enemies before they even touch you, or go for a full speed robot and spam stun glove which will also result in doing lots of damage before the enemy hits you.
the first thing you learn is how to follow the beat for charging stuff like arms legs and heat, then you'll learn to time your punchcard cliicks with pressing 1/2/3 for charging at the same time and the last step is learning to dodge while doing it. past that the game is pretty much a piece of cake, at least for now.
my best fight so far was against a robo mexico, i landed 62 punches and it landed 4 LOL. dodging + stun glove spam is really strong.
Turns out my dodging wasn't working because I was pressing the wrong buttons. Classic.
I'll try it out, cheers.
Oh, so you mean the 10 countdown started whilst you were in the corner receiving repairs? If so that would be a definite bug.
