i'd much rather they put that into more maps than just a box arena doing pretty much the tricks over and over again. everytime i was forced to do it, just to progress just seemed to kill my fun from just doing the regular maps.
When it works, it's a load of fun. But it seemed to be so inconsistent. Sometimes the multiplier just doesn't want to go up. And when you finally get to x3 multiplier, it drops down lower before you're even able to get to the next trick.
Doing the drifts around the green cones and circles is ridiculously hard imho. I could barely ever get them right.
Eventually I just took the easy way out. I would turn on trick assist, which mate it a lot easier to do, but a bit less satisfying. And I would generally lower the difficulty to 2 or even 1 if I really just wanted to get it over with.
I think the idea is great in a general sense, but the multiplier and scoring system could be better, and maybe some tutorials to teach players how to do certain things, make it more accessible.
After dirt 4 not even rally showed up
I don't remember it very well BUT execution could have been a part of it. I think in concept it's fine but maybe better execution. Maybe if it was a separate mode?
