Of course no, it's just a graphics setting, just like changing resolution or turning off shadows. Not to mention I don't think there is any anit-cheat system in this game.

In real, an object will not glow like in this game. I think you may not understand what I meant for the glowing/booming effect in this game. If you have cities in motion, you can try to turn on/off Boom, and you will know what i meant.
