How do I upload replays to Youtube?
I haven't played the game in a long time but I decided to give it a try again now that they got rid of GFWL. I do remember that the game allowed players to upload replays to Youtube, but I can't seem to find that option anymore.

Looks as though this functionality has been dropped :(

It used to be an option in the Profile area (Options > Profile > YouTube account).

Would love to see this reinstated :)

I was hoping they'd have amended it so that it wasn't limited to only a few seconds but it looks like they've removed it entirely :(

Sad. I posted a couple of my vids up and would like to do some more.

So we're asked to do it after each race and the function is removed?! That's so crazy I want to post it on youtube!

When playing on the hardest difficulty you are also being asked to increase it if you win...

And why did this feature get removed? Was it related to GFWL or something?

The feature as it was was useless anyway as it did not allow full replay uploads in good quality but just tiny snippets that were all but useless.

I would love to see a feature where you can save the full replays as videos on your system for upload or later editing without having to use a third party screen capture software.

I think I actually used YouTube to stitch mine together to form a complete rerun...can still see small jumps in the footage but it was better than nothing when an awesome run was going to disappear forever :)

Agreed, the quality was something like 480. Maybe they're relying on people to use their own other capture methods now that allow better quality recording.

They obviously also didn't fancy removing the dialogue from in game thart repeatedly asks you to upload them as well :(

I guess we (anyone that didn't buy the DLC ) should be thankful that we've been given those for free and look at it as compensation for the year it's taken as well as these issues that have been 'oberlooked' lol

Had a great run and managed to place first after an airborn barrel roll and a complete 360 bounce off of a tree (separate instances) and was very sad to find the video posting feature had been removed. Hoping it gets brought back in through a patch. Third party options just aren't as nice.

The workaround that I've been using, which is quite tedious, is to play the replay slowly (using the triggers on my controller for the speed, and the sticks for the camera angle), and holding F12 to take screenshots in quick succession.

Then I dump the images as layers into GIMP, do some compressing, and save it as an animated GIF. Like these.

It's a bit tedious, so I save it for memorable moments, or when I'm just bored. And it works for ANY game that can have screenshots taken, though it helps if you can slow the game down, so that the resulting GIF is a desirable speed and reasonable framerate.

sucks this, even the limited feature has been removed. I only just got the game, and had a clip i wanted to upload to show friends. didn't need to be the full race, just where i did a barrel roll after clipping the inside snow bank on a corner, and landing on my wheels to keep going with no issues.

I quickly went looking for this functionality when I heard the narrator said "let's post it to YouTube!" but couldn't find it.

I guess we'll have to use our graphics cards software for this (ReLive for AMD and Geforce Experience for Nvidia).

Good to know bc I was wondering the same thing. Fortunately there's Bandicam if you need to video-capture, even if you only get to record 30fps or somesuch for 10minThe screenshot to video alternative works also which would require software like Nero or Photoshop but there are free alternatives too, except like you've said, it's tedious but the result I am sure is very good as the resolution will scale accordingly.
