Dirt 3 Complete Edition or Dirt Rally?

I normally don't play a lot of racing games, but now I had the urge to play one again. I'm looking for a racing game that offers the following:
- easy to get into but still offers a challenge when you know how to play it (I don't want a hardcore simulation that requires me three months of studying until I can move the car)
- lots of different tracks
- outdoor tracks with pretty landscapes and ideally different weather conditions

DiRT 3:
Arcade rally game with a ton of game modes like Rally, Rallycross, Head 2 Head along with "Fun" game modes to entertain you like Infection (Outbreak), Steal the flag etc

DiRT Rally:
A Rally simulator that has a 100% focus ONLY on Rally

I honestly prefer DiRT 3 because i play with keyboard, i like fun game modes and i can't run DiRT Rally :p

DiRT Rally. It's a simulator, more or less, but it's absolutely amazing. You may not be looking for a sim, but it's the one that got me into sim racing. Can't go back to anything arcady anymore. It won't be three months of studying, it'll be a couple of goes at it until you understand how the cars work. The game is still in development, and lots more content is coming to it, but right now it has quite the number of Rally stages and the entirety of Pikes Peak for hillclimb. However, if you don't at least have a controller, DiRT Rally is going to be hell. Sim type games don't work well with keyboards. Hell, even DiRT 3 is a pain in the ass with a keyboard.
Honestly, I suggest you take the plunge into the sim type gameplay of Dirt Rally and have fun with it. It's more challenging, but once you get used to it it's a hell of a lot better than DiRT 3.

Dirt Rally Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better , by far the best WRC game.

It mainly boils down to this, do you want an Arcade (easy to play) or more SIM type game? If you want more of an Arcade type, get Dirt 3, more SIM type get Dirt Rally. Both are good games, so you cant really go wrong with either, although the Bro dudes and Gymkahna will get old quick in Dirt 3.

Colin Mc Rae Rally 2005 was great too but it destroys your pc if you try to intall it because it has this damn starforce drm. I have the console-version too but I would love to play it again on pc. :(

You should've bought it at the summer sale then.. I believe it was 75-90% discounted. Even now it's 7€.
