Should I get this or DiRT showdown?

There is still a demo of showdown I believe, I used to have it. I bought Dirt 3 couple of days ago and it's a lot of fun. It depends what you are looking for. Showdown from what I played was pretty crazy in the sense that you ram into others and the crashes are pretty epic.

Dirt 3 is more serious, probably more challenging and rewarding if you are looking for a more realistic driving game. Others more experienced with the 2 games might bring in more advices but I think it safe to say Dirt 3 is great.

I have the both and never played the showdown but Dirt Showdown is not a rally game I guess they are different. I recommend both. I will play showdown after finishing D3

And it saved my progress for me. Maybe your Steam Cloud doesn't work properly

I prefer DiRT 3 bc you can disable auto gers and all other assists like abs, stability control... The game is almost a simulator.... In dirt showdown you can't do it... you always play with auto gears and dont have even a cockpit view.... But the two titles is very good.... And showdown runs great on linux :D
