fwiw the only recent driving game I've tried was The Crew and I quite liked the driving aspect of that.
I just bought the game and I love it so I would reccomend it
it's heavy arcade - racing, similar to all previous codemasters rally-type games
i found grid 2 or grid autosport the closest to NFS from codemasters, but still not the same
But if you found Grid too sim-like, then you'll likely find this game too sim-like too.
If you're into rally and have 30 bucks, then buy Dirt Rally

The steering sensitivity is easily adjusted and drives great once adjusted.
I play it with a xbox360 controller, and do just fine hitting 1st place in all races at middle-difficulty (mainly because I don't like beating my head against a wall on harder difficulty... I just drive to have fun).
Although I do have stick extenders, which helps with the steering. There are a bunch of settings to make the game do things for you though to reduce the complexity of driving. Although I recomend turn them all off. Even the HUD. It plays better without all that crap going on, and you just see the road in front of you.
don't waste you're money
