Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\DiRT3\hardwaresettings\ folder inside your user directory, for example "c:\Users\Johnny\Documents\My Games\DiRT3\hardwaresettings\"
2. Open hardware_settings_config.xml file in your favorite text editor (notepad works) ,
3. Find the line starting with
<resolution
4. Change the part of it that says multisampling="8xqcsaa" (or multisampling="whatever") to multisampling="8xmsaa" (or, if even that doesn't work, to multisampling="off")
5. Save the file
6. Start the game.
