Game won't start after installing OpenAL FIX

After you install the following.

Make sure to install both vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe if you're using (64-bit Windows) but if you're only using (32-bit Windows) just install vcredist_x86.exe

Microsoft Visual C++
vcredist_x86.exe - windows 32 bit
vcredist_x64.exe - windows 64 bit

OpenAL
oalinst.exe

DirectX
dxwebsetup.exe

If the game still don't start. open up the vcredist_x86.exe installer and instead of repair select uninstall and start the game from Steam it's fixed my problem.

apparently it conflicted with the newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ by removing the old version is fix it for me.

I hope this help others who are in the same situation as me.

If you're looking for the 3 installation software that you need to run the game. Go to your steam Library and right click (DiRT 3 Complete Edition) click (properties) click (locate file) click (browse locat files) and open the (_CommonRedist) folder you will see the 3 software you need in their respective folder.

DirectX
OpenAL
vcredist

If the game open in Window mode just hit Alt+Enter for full screen.

UPDATE:

It's seem a lot of people are having this problem I think another game updated Microsoft Visual C++ just uninstall the old version that came with the game vcredist_x86.exe installer as it seem to conflict with the newer version of Microsoft Visual C++.

Follow my instruction above. this work for dirt 3 complete edition and dirt showdown.
