Ive left open slots open over the past 24 hours and have also been monitoring to see if there is any online activity and there appears to be none.
Having said that, open ports for this game may be required so Ive basically given up on it.
Great game, but as Im into multiplayer races it holds my attention span for about 5mins.
Great job by developers though, its by far the best Rally SIM I have used before. Thank you Codemasters.
Project Cars is absolutely brilliant if you are looking for Multi servers with mind blowing SIM reality and Grafix and also of coarse Asseto Corsa is another one.
There are definitely still players playing and you can have some really good racing.
NFS Shift multiplayer also is dead, even tho you can use Tunngle and find people's there.
Usually there are about 4-5 people's searching for a match but this may vary.
If you're into old racing games, you could try NFS Most Wanted 2005. Had a peek of 30 players racing online once but yes, Dirt 3 MP is pretty much alive, don't have issues at finding players
Simply not true.
I woudn't say that there are a lot of action online, but claming there is none is absurd.
I've been playing online for the past two weeks or so and I can say that you can find Jam Session lobbies frequently. Ranging from Rally, Rally Cross, Outbreak, Transporter, Trailblazer and so on.
Right now there's around 1000 people playing the game according to steam, I can safely say that if you do a quick search under the Jam Session option you'll find some lobbies.
I flipped through her and saw this comment.
DON'T BOTHER
NFS:Shift was horrific for me. I couldnb't get past tenwty minutes of it. It was poorly set-up for the controlas and the physics are a joke. Cars do not bounce on paved race tracks!
Thankyou Dr. It is not very clear where all the action is. I will give it another try.
I am in Australia, Maybe that is an issue with PING times even though Im on a 100mb connection.?
