Is the "Sink the Telmarines' Fleet" mission bugged?
I try to make this gryphon land. Played this part of the game like 5 times now. But the gryphon landing will not trigger. No matter where or how I kill this boss soldier.
After that boss is dead I cannot decimate the attackers either... they are invincible. So yeah, makes me being stuck kinda in the beginning of the game. Anyone know how to do that?

Does sound like its bugged for you two. I bought the game a few days ago and had no problem with either of the gryphon landing parts there. Have you tried verifying the game files through steam? Would be odd for something to corrupt on two people at roughly the same time though.. but who knows.

What do u exactly want to say by "verifying game files through steam"?? This is really weird, because game is downloaded from steam servers or whatever so why for us two is this operation going wrong? It looks like some files or part of script is gone. I would be nice to ask support but I cannot find this game in steam libraries so can't pick it in contact formular...;/

Validating the local files did not help. The scene/script is still broken for me.
Maybe its related to the operating system this game runs on. In my case that would be a Windows Vista x64 edition. Or maybe its bugged because it does not like to be the last mission of the chapter.

I have Windows 8.1 and it's is the same for me... I tried to make it first mission also, like the first thing I did in the game and also nothing.
Maybe there some very special condition but I can't find it (if it so).

Using Xp here, i did that one last at the castle so surely its not that. Game is not showing up on a search of the website now, so maybe it has been pulled due to bugs. Certainly seems buggy enough..

It's not really cool... Maybe it's not my dream game, I bought it because it was good sale, but anyway the method of solving this kind of problems with support seems like impossible.

A possible workaround: try the game in compatibility mode; "Vista compatibility mode" work for me.

No problem:
from steam, right clic on game, open game folder.
From game folder, right clic on "caspian.exe", properties
In compatibility tab, check "run this program in compatibility mode", then select in list "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)".
Then run it from game folder or steam and cross your fingers

update: it seems turning vertical sync on was what fixed the gryphon issue for me.

When running it through Proton on Linux, this doesn't seem to fix it. I just played the mission in a Windows VM with 60hz and VSync on and suddenly the Gryphons landed.

I first tried using a 100% save but didn't like the maxed out stats, so here is mine from right after completing the mission: https://dropbox.com/s/7yarob2wypxemw5/SaveGame2.Prince_Caspian_SavedGame

To use it:
1. Press Windows Key+R
2. Type %APPDATA%
3. Go to Disney Interactive Studios/Prince Caspian/SavedGames/ and copy the downloaded file in there, by default it replaces the third save slot. If you want to change that, just replace the number in the file name. The first slot is SaveGame0, the second one is SaveGame1 and the third is SaveGame2.

If the link is down, feel free to add me and I'll send you the file and update the link here.

And if you want to see the last part that you missed, here is a playthrough starting right before the Gryphons land (skip to 9:00), it's about six minutes of gameplay:
