Had this on my Xbox 360, and ended up regretting it, typical Movie game, only much much worse... I doubt it selled well, so I think it's safe to assume we won't see a rendition of the first book.

I remember I played this game 5 years ago and I enjoyed a bit. But I think the best in the series is the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. :)

I got a bootleg copy of the first game and it's not that bad. Pretty entertaining. I would buy it on any deal for a reasonable price...if they ever decide to put it here.

The good Ghostbusters game is not based on a movie, just the IP.

To answer OP, they likely have a 10 year license on the IP per title and the first one is long since "abandonware", which is similarly likely to be what is happening to this title right now.
