Well said.
If priced higher you could pick at the flaws more,
Kudos to the developer for making something special (imo).

here's a review from me: you made a masterpiece.
bought gog version and was satisfied
That's what I do when I'm on the fence about a game. Found a few games I like thanks to Twitch/YouTube.
I bought Toren on the PS4 since I wanted a new game and it looked like fun (and it was on sale for PS+ members). I wasn't disappointed at all. It might have been short, but it was well-done with a great story.
reviews are food for thought, not mandates to dictate what we like or dislike. people too often knee-jerk when reviews come in for discussion, like they are totalitarian law enforced by industry mouthpieces and lowly tubers alike. stop being apprehensive or insecure with reviews; they are merely attempts to inform potential players of which considerations resulted in a certain reception.
nothing happened to just playing a game and forming an opinion of your own. most everybody plays a game and forms an opinion of their own but reviews are often important tools to figure out what games will likely lead us to forming a good opinion.. which is what we want, to have a good opinion of the game. nobody wants to blind pick and end up not enjoying what they paid for. reviews, even from awful & corrupted mainstream sites like gamespot or ign, all have a criteria of considerations that help prepare... food for thought.
reviews do not infringe on our ability to remain free-thinking; they instead embolden our thoughts and draw out necessary skepticism and praise as we finally experience first-hand the material covered by review.
Ahh man... Now I want doritos... :(
SHAME ON YOU, all the big web-page reviews are bought off ( have you seen the doritos pope, or read dragon age 2 reviews, COD reviews, etc) trusting such companies is SHAME on you. If you think you might like it, buy it. Do not let others op effect you.
