So I own both Warlock 1 and Warlock 2 (and all DLC). But I'm debating which one to play. I'm a Civ2 player, and I like spamming cities. Reading the forums, it seems Warlock 1 is much better for this. However, Warlock 2 has the Renaissance Mod, which looks to take Warlock to the next level. Also, Warlock 2 has this option to disable the city limit. Does that work well with Renaissance Mod and how Warlock 2 is set up? Also, it seems Warlock 2 has city unrest (does 1 not have that?). How annoying is that? Ar...

I have been playing this game for about 25 hours but have a lot of experience with Warlock 1. I am allied with King Rat and slowly progressing through the shard worlds. In the Dremer world, an allied monster settler unit just sitting inside my city limit on my newly built Temple of Helia on holy ground, blocking production of Wolves of Helia. It is just sitting there with low health (damaged by Dremer terrain) . Have you experienced this ? Is there a solution apart from declaring war on King Rat ?...

Hey all! In my current game I have the persistent problem with save games. This has two forms: 1) it gives me an info box stating "file not exist" or "file not found" (don't know the exact text right now, can of course get it when needed.) 2) the game seems to load something, but all I get is a black screen with some parts of the UI visible. I'm running renaissance mod without anything else. My HD is empty enough. Did not have these problems the last time I played. (Also using renaissance mod.)...

I'd gladly throw in a little cash to get updates like a new race or two, etc...was hoping the devs would have found a way to get funding, even a Kickstarter, but obviously never happening.

I just came back to this wonderful game after years off. I'm having trouble finding info on consequences for making an alliance or similar agreement and breaking it. Doesn't seem to be any aside from the offended faction thinking less of you?
