Bonus game ?

Has anyone else started the bonus game, and found that they no longer have the multi-tool? I've gone through everything I can think of. I can leave the jail cell and get into the junction and the laboratory, but no multi-tooll, no knife I can find, no screwdriver. So, I'm stuck at this point. Help?

Have you figured it out? Hints do not work in bonus and no youtube videos to follow either.

I am playing the bonus right now, thought I was stuck, then when looking again in that green lab cabinet that has a bank and a fan and a broken chess piece on the shelf, right under the fan I finally noticed the piece of paper that is in a skinny slot that my tweezers could get,,, so I am playing on now, whew!
