Disappointed that our purchases don't carry over.

I'm glad that we get all of the current iOS/Android expansions for our $10. But I'm disappointed that our previous purchases on either platform will not carry over to here.

Since we need our own playdek accounts, you could easily tag those accounts with what has been purchased and make those purchases cross-platform (instead of giving the easy answer "purchases can't be made cross-platform" that I just saw in the steam store comments).

Also, are the promo packs included? Are they separate purchases? Is cross-platform play available?

Unfortunately we just don't have the technology at this time to allow purchases to transfer between platforms. It is something we are looking into, but at this time it isn't possible I'm sorry.

As for your questions regarding whether the promo packs are included or not, they are indeed included so you will be able to play with these packs with this game. And yes, cross-platform is available so you can play against others who are playing on iOS and Android devices.

Sorry, that makes no sense whatsoever. I do not believe that this is a technical hurdle, its obviously a policy decision.

I no of almost no games that track purchases cross playform, or more accurately, give you credit for a purchase in one place that you made elsewhere. Being able to interact with the data cross platform is easy.

@Playdek_Shyla: Unfortunately, until you get the technology to recognize my IAP/DLC purchases across platforms, I'll just keep playing Ascension on my phone. (FWIW, I own all of Playdek's apps on iOS, including most of the IAP.)
