How do you set up dgVoodoo for this game?

Anyone know how to set up dgVoodoo for this game?
Which version of dgVoodoo and settings and files much be moved in?

Sorry YES YOU CAN but its dgvoodoo2, and the odd part did not work,
but then i validate game files after that , and it fix the odd menu and mouse all over the screen effect. so something has change. ( see youtube video ) dont aspect people explan this, then i could not get it to work as video did it.

i start game from steam client and game work better now. o_O,
you need a expert to figure this out. dont forget we other left such old game along time ago. ( but darkstone was fun anyway. )

no menu screw up, wtf did i do to fix it. or dxvoodoo2 did something.

dgVoodoo2 have some incompatibility issues with AMD and Intel videocards/drivers.
It's not works for everyone, unfortunately.
If you have a GeForce, then this is strange. Maybe screen resolution is not supported, try to set something like 800x600 or 1024x768.
Maybe this is a videodriver issue..

If nothing can help, then delete D3DImm.dll and ddraw.dll from Darkstone folder and copy
this dll[yadi.sk]. This will disable dgvoodoo2, though

I had the exact same issue. It worked fine after installation, but when trying to add dgvoodoo2, it just didn't start. After like an hour of trying every single fix I could find, I figured out the reason for the game not starting issue. Close the game folder, that's it. For some reason, the game just instantly crashes if it's open. And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with dgvoodoo2. Even fresh installation of the game won't start if the darkstone folder is open.

Lol, that was so silly and it just worked. I even reinstalled the game due to this. >_<
