Windows 10 Version 1703
now there seem to be a mouse issue in load a game menu and configuration, its look like a flicker issue, this was not there before update and i played over 3hours atm, but if MP work i cant tell
problem solved.
i have change my older graphic card settings to Balance mode, and it dont like that, then set to Quality again, flicker issue gone and all is normal, i even made a MP charecter, and make own game, and rest is just tcp/ip connection who you need to talk with. (windows firewall and router + isp firewall if such service added to subscribed line )
How exactly did you change the setting to "quality" as you put it? It's running through my best graphics card, rather than the integrated one and everything seems to run perfectly on it, but I still have slight flicker issues and the multiplayer button obviously won't work.
I appreciate your response and definitely look forward to wrapping this up! Thanks!
Any other ideas? This is so annoying!! -_-
Heh heh...
ps.
you can also try contact game support
create a MP charecter, drag him to select box, click OK
create a tcp/ip game ( ipx is old network for novel network, not use by many, more a company choise ) i even create own server game and game start up in town.
rest is firewall and what ip. adr. client use to connect to server.´
ps.
copy tekst from GoG "use gameranger to play with a friend. works flawless."
i use compatibility windows7 on exe.
and it also have remove dpi scale by app
and run as administrator.
How do you go about that when pushing the "Multiplayer" button does nothing? Unfortently it looks like I might need to find a new game.
its sounds like you have issue with pc is updated,
i bet something is missing and app cant access network or protocol, or something like that.
do validate game cache, if something is wrong with it.
also contact game support they might know , what this could be ?
ps.
also be sure its not a antivirus app that block it, several steam game have notice blocking issue, from security that is needed today , but it also generate game issue same time.
I've tried all of your suggestions mate, it just seems nothing is working. I also thought of the anti-virus angle, but it seems that isn't blocking it either, having made an exception for it and turning it off all togther. Really weird :s
I think Morika might be right on this one... We're just going to find something else to play.
Thanks again for your help!
this game even work on my old pc, a gtx295 card ( it is a 3D game, but store page dont mentions this at all ) and we have seen some old intel onboard graphic card before not working, because missing 3D feature on them.
It's no worries bud, I really, really appreciate the time you've put into getting back to me on this.
Thank you :)
is all drivers +BIOS update from mortherboard or if brand name pc then its that support page. ( they do have updates and it should make pc more stable. )
overclocking can also lead to unstable pc. ( its has nothing to do with this game requirements, this game can run on almost a 10-15 years old pc, if bought top ace pc back then. )
and maybe even see event viewer, why this game crash if it even make a record of it ?
