Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 Mod Manager - 0.9.4.2 release for version 1.1.6.0 of the game

This program enables easy creation and editing of car data files, the engine file, the tire data file, the list that controls the loading of cars, simple moving of maps into the correct directory, a map info file editor, and a save game editor.

There are also backup options for your saves and car data files should anything go wrong.
(Built and tested on Windows7, using .Net 4.6)

Car List

Edit the list of cars loaded into the showroom of the main menu. Cars will not show up in main game as it doesn't do that.
Options to add and remove cars from the loading list.
Import, copy (create a new car based on an existing one), overwrite and delete car data files.

Edit all parts of the car data file. This is were you can mod a car.
Options for editing cars, creating new cars, saving a changed existing car as new, and setting the picture. Easy click to select engine swap dialog box!
Currently only the engine and tire type are selectable from a drop down list, but the rest are on the to-do list.
You can load in a modded car from a file or just paste the text in, you can also have the text ready to copy out.

View the maps loaded and their details, and easily load in new maps.
Also includes options for creating and editing the text file that contains the map info.

You can alter save game data related to yours stats including money and experience points.

However there is still more to, such as editing the cars in your garage, but as digging through and figuring out the data in the hex files will take some time, I'm looking for help, what values do what and which location they are at.

Changed how transvol and frontspringlength were saved (was saving zero vales as some default car files had zero values saved, but this caused all modifed save to have these), changed to consistant behaviour of zero values not being saved

Whats next?
Continue to support this (any problems, let know what the error was).
I have had a look into the saved game car files, found the location of the horsepower and tuning values (you want 30% tuning? sure!), and the blocks that control what parts are on the car and their status.
However as it'll be a bit boring to completly do (I either need to implent my own binary search or completly reverse engineer how the various parts are stored) and there doesn't seem to be much interest here. I'll be putting it off until I really feel like doing it or somebody grabs a hex editor and does some of the reverse engineering for themselves.

Well the easier it is to mod, the mods we get right? :steamhappy:

I should really do a better write up but I'm full of a head cold at the moment.

Interested to know what you think (and if it breaks, how you managed to break it!)
After a month of rework, the new, improved and ready for 1.0.7.3 version is out for release.

LOL I work in a call center and they PAY me to deal with stupid people. What a great feeling. I highly reccomend customer service if you want some of that money. Its not for everyone.. But if your good at reading people and fixing the issue they have then you can be a natrual.

Wonderful app you have here. Im wonding tho, how do I gain access to my app data. Its telling me access denied when I try and set the save game DIR.

It can add new cars to the showroom list from the main menu (which reloads every time so you don't need to restart the game each time.)
However new cars won't show up in game. It seems you can only overwrite them, so if you want to work on the Bianco V8 you'll need to overwrite the normal Bianco. Make sure you don't have the car currently out in your garage.

I run my computer with as a single user with admin privileges (on win7) so I can touch everything if your setup differently that might be the problem, do you have access normally?
You could try running it with admin privileges and see if that works.

Also 0.9.0.1 went out last night with a bug-fix to the engine section it's probably a good idea to get the latest version.
