Game is insisting a rubber bushing is missing from the car, but all of them seem to be there. Help?
I just finished up a job on a car, hit Finish and it won't let me because it says a rubber bushing is missing. I've searched over and over and I'm positive all the rubber bushings are there. Now, I did just get the game yesterday, but: I see four rubber bushings in the back and four in the front. I can't get this car out of my garage and it's kinda pissing me off to the point where I'm almost ready to restart from a new game just to get rid of the car.

So, am I actually missing something here? I sorta feel like this may be a bug, because I've searched the underside of this car for so long, I'm feel positive I'm not missing an empty spot where a bushing should be.

If its a new car thete are 6 bushings in the back. 4 on the frame and 2 on the side rocker arms.

I had the exact same problem on a job . It can be a little tricky to find however check every control arm in the suspension. Some of the control arms have bushings that come off with the arm and some have bushing that need to be removed first. Turn the body off then get the camera focused on the control arms and look for the white transparent spot in the suspension. You will find it eventually.

Yeeees, that was it. It was missing one on the side. I would have never found that. Thank you!

I literally just came off of a job that required a few things and a rubber bushing replacement. Spent a good 20 minutes trying to find the damn thing. Wish I came here sooner but the satisfaction was next level.

Can you "highlight" it with star icon? Use it

Best new feature for me! In the job list there are little stars next to things that need fixing - if you highlight it, then look over the car, your starred part should be highlighted in cyan/light blue. It can still take a little looking, but the highlight makes it worlds more easy :)

Yeah, highlighting is good. However, it won't highlight a missing part, just parts that need to be repaired. That particular bushing was one I took out trying to get another piece out. It didn't need to be replaced. But I found it and all is good.

When I look for things to place I usually tap 1 and 2 in rapid succesion I usually spot them then cause they will blink on and off :)

That didn't work for me? All the Rubber bushing are replaced? Have done a check list of all parts indicator and comes up green that it is done but still says "car is incomplete. missing rubber bushing" And I have scrolled though forums and highlighted fixed parts and stays blue. I even sold a new one and bought another and still it doesn't want to know about it? Please help..

set the assambly mode on, and look again see if there is a grey bushing location, bushing are the hardest to spot its just a part of the game

When Looking At The Car, Keep clicking 1 and 2 for the misiing parts bit and keep looking round, but mostly at he suspension crossmembers and anywhere near braking/suspension

Thank you both for your input.. I did find it.. You were both right.. But it definitely did not come up as a missing part just an empty space.. Very sly.. Hmmm Thank you again.. :)
