saw a note on tablet be on order info but can not find it

You must buy the tablet first with 1000exp points by going to the toolbox.
After you've bought one you can use it by pressing T anywhere in the workshop.

It's the only use for it, and it's the best upgrade you can buy, besides the fast unbolting.
Now if only we could carry that phone with us as well....
