it ended up being the fuel pump, which is at the back of the car above the fuel tank, and it was considered an engine part... so yeah, looking at the engine area was not the way to find it :)
When the job does not say "List provided" that means you're going to have to do a little detective work, and figure out what's wrong. It's more satisfying to figure it out and solve it than to be held by the hand like a baby, in my opinion.
However I do agree that it would be nice if customers had some feedback etc. The metric would need to be something like Achieve 90% brake performance, rather than repair this list of parts. Then it wouldn't care what parts you changed or what % they were at only that you achieved at least 90%, Then if you went over that amount the customer could react in some positive way.
That's fine.
The problem is the communication to the player
'part not found' looks like an error
'part unknown' would communicate that it is not FOUND as opposed to an error
Beyond this I think a far more engaging game model, maybe for 2016 would be as in my first post.
"Your business role is to balance repair costs with customer quality satisfaction!"
Right now when it comes in with an exact list, you're 'Mechanic Employee Simulator 2015'
You're told exactly what to do, and how to do it.
And even if you're not told exactly what to do, that outcome is the same.
Imagine on job finalization you had a customer satisfaction score based on your replacement part quality, and number of parts found? :)
I have noticed a few of translation problems, just keep pointing them out I suppose.
I like "part unknown" but it also sounds like error. Also like "yet" in the end.
Maybe its because of text color? Maybe we should use some grey one?
will be pushed with new update
