When restoration bonus starts to grow?
I just wonder when i am going too see restoration bonus as something else other than 0$ ? No more red parts, still i spent more on the car than its current price (bought it for about the same price for which i could sell it right away).

I don't know exactly when restoration bonuses start but I've been making good cash buying the Bolt Reptilia for under $15000 and retoring them to 100%. It helps if you have your repair ability unlocked to 90% though. I can repair most of the car and then buy what I can't repair on the work bench. I usually make around $20000 profit per car. It depends on how many parts I repair though but the Bolt Reptilia sells for $57000+ fully restored which means I can spend $37000 (includes price of car at auction) and still make a decent profit.

I tend to buy 4-5 at a time and tear them all down at once except for the wheels (so I can move them around). That way I can have enough parts to build most of 1-2 cars. I sell them and then build the others to sell. I can do a complete tear down/rebuild in about 30 mins.

by 100% do you mean 100% or all green?

I mean all green. 100% parts condition and 100% body condition.

Edit: I realized that all green doesn't mean 100%. Either way though I tend to make every part all neww.

Green is not necessary 100%, though i got your idea. Will try to see myself when the bonus appears.

Just reached all yellow (81%,72% condition). Still no bonus, but the difference between current price and total amount spent is closing.

Lol. Yeah, I cleared that up in the edit up thread,

I've noticed the resto bonus begins before the car if fully complete. I sometimes miss parts when reassembling and I use the car list to catch any I've missed. The resto bonus is added to the sell price though so it really doesn't matter to me.

Edit: that should be included in the sell price. I know it's $17000+ for the Reptilia.

Got everything to green, 98% and 100% conditions.
Total spent: 27739
Sells for: 29460
Profit: ~1700

Dang, expected a bit more.

You should really do all on 100% - bonus will be much more bigger

1700 is nothing

p.s what was the car?

Yeah, that's not good and doesn't sound right. I'm making really good money just doing 1 model car (though I've done 3 different types and they've all paid well).

Edit: sounds like you were doing one of the small cars if it only sold for $29000+. They're really not worth doing.

The Bolt Reptilia full resto sells for $57000
The Tempest Magnum full resto sell for $65000
The Royale GTR full resto sells for $95000

You can buy the Reptilia for $12000-$17000 at auction
You can buy the Magnum for $10000-$15000 at auction
You can but the GTR for $35000-$50000 at auction

Those are the 3 that I've done.

i did it to 100% after that to see the price, but i got 1500 instead of 1700 then because half the 95% parts broke when repairing them and buying them neglected the bonus. So it did not worked. I don't remember car model. Car cost boosted by around 5000
EDIT: the money actually do not matter that much because there is nothing else to buy in game, and main fun is in gameplay rather than in money.

I had only 30k when i got to auction so it was hard to buy something expensive. I did not even had enough money to make first bid on GTR. RIght now i got Mioveni urs. Will see how much i will make it by 100% it.

How much money do you have right now? If you have $50000 or more go buy a Reptilia or Magnum. You can buy one at auction. Just don't pay more than $15000. Then buy all new parts for $10000-$15000 total. You can sell it for $57000 or $65000 depending on which one you get. That's a good profit and only takes about an hour or so to do it.

You can buy something expensive (under $30000) and then come back and do some jobs to make enough to restore it. Like I said, buy a Magnum or Reptilia. Those are fast an easy money.

The problem with those small cars is some of the parts cost the same no matter what car you're restoring. Ventilated Rotors, Bushings, Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate, Battery, Brake Servo etc.... all cost a set price and are the same price no matter which car you're buying them for. If you buy them for a small car there's less profit per part bought and they cost the same price either way. Keep that in mind when choosing which car to restore. That's why restoring the higher priced cars (not auction price but sell price) is a better bargin.

OK, here is the result of Mioveni urs:
Had before auction:
33277
Left after auction:
17734
Spent money for parts, left with:
4192
Sold for 37137 and now have:
41329

Around 8000 profit. Seems ok.
