How realistic is this game?

is it like engines down to every detail? or is it really simplified? because im thinking of doing car mechanics as a future career and was wondering if this could be educational

It isn't super duper realistic, but there is a bit of realism to it. If nothign else, it will help you get your bearings of where the large main components are. However you're not going to be measuring clearances of rod bearings or adjusting valves or rebuilding transmissions or boring cylinders. It's a very simplified game, so don't take everything you see on this game as fact, but it is good to get a VERY basic understanding of some parts and locations.

Also it's great to see someone interested in automotive tech as well, I've been working on cars for years and just registered for classes at my local tech school for my degree today! Good luck!
