Rear Shock Absorber Cap Glitch???
So I had to repair the Rear Shock Absorber in the Rino Piccolo and so I did, but it's not checking it off the list, like it's saying that the Rear Shock Absorber Cap is missing, but it's on it!

Are you sure you repaired the correct part? The rear shock absorber cap is the gray disc-like thing on top of the rear springs, not the black tube shaped shock absorber.

Yes I am positive.

The only other thing is due to a weird and rare 'math' issue. If you repair a part and it says it is the same % as the minimum required on the job order, it may not actually be repaired enough. This happens because of the condition of the parts being displayed as whole percent numbers (e.g. 70%, 60%, 84%, etc.) but in reality the value has more precision than that and is simply rounded to the nearest whole number of a percent (e.g. 0.697658 -> 70% & 0.702328 -> 70% both display as 70% but only the latter would meet a 70% minimum requirement).

If you had played cms2014, one of the missions/jobs in it had a part that had this problem and many people got confused and somewhat angered by it. I myself have seen maybe 2 parts out of thousands (so we're talking a 0.01% chance or less) in this version of game that seemed to have this.

Thankfully in this version you have a few options to progress in situations like these.
- On the job order, once you have found a part, click the gray star next to it to make it blue so it will be highlighted/outlined when you examine the car so you can see which part is the problem just in case it may be flagging a different part then the one you thought
- try repairing it again (to avoid the rare round-off issue I try to get higher than the minimum (e.g. 71% or more if it wants 70%)
- just buy a new part (100% new will always work. just dents your bank account)
- or just give up and go to the next job (but the car has to be complete with no missing parts)

I haven't really repaired a single part. I actually just buy a new part and replace the old part. I have even tried highlighting it with the gray stars and such, but it never highlights. I can't even "complete" it because it keeps saying it's missing this part, even though it's on the car

If the game thinks it isn't installed then it should highlight when in assembly mode...unless there is (or it thinks there is) another part missing.

I assume you have tried the cms equivalent of 'turn it off and on again' by removing the part then putting it back on. If not, it might be the only way (or go full nuclear and rip everything apart and put it back together) to get the lemon out of the garage without trying to edit the save files or fiddle with cheatengine or similar programs.

I did try removing the part and putting it back, I even removed the whole axle part and put it back, but it won't complete. I have no idea how to edit the save files
