Body repair

Need some help with body repair. I click on the green acetylene tank in the garage, and receive this message.... This action requires body repair tools to be unlocked in upgrade menu.... I do not know where to find this upgrade menu so I can get this portion of the game working. Can somebody help me?

Look for the large-ish red tool boxes around the garage.

click on any of them, they all function the same

and you'll get the upgrades menu

to use the green tank you'll need to purchase all five of the repair options in the middle column which means you'll need at least 5000xp

you earn xp by removing parts, installing parts, and successfully repairing parts at 1 point for each and you get 100 points by completing a job

sorry if this contains info you may already know, it's here for anyone that might not know as this question is a fairly common one

if you want/need to grind xp just find any cars oil fill cap and remove it to begin adding oil, and then press [esc] to cancel it and you will earn 2xp, one for removing and one for replacing the cap
