to use the green tank you'll need to purchase all five of the repair options in the middle column which means you'll need at least 5000xp
you earn xp by removing parts, installing parts, and successfully repairing parts at 1 point for each and you get 100 points by completing a job
sorry if this contains info you may already know, it's here for anyone that might not know as this question is a fairly common one
if you want/need to grind xp just find any cars oil fill cap and remove it to begin adding oil, and then press [esc] to cancel it and you will earn 2xp, one for removing and one for replacing the cap
