I Yam What I Yam Trouble
I first enountered this mission when I was casually dashing by, and did not pay much attention to it. After completing some main quests (Arthur's), I decided to go back and saw that it was not marked on my map, even after tracking the mission. Luckily, I knew where it was, having been chased by pedestrians all around it. I got to the base of the hill at night, ate a mushroom, cleared my perception, and entered. I greeted the people on the path to the top of the hill, and they glitched at me in response. They would attempt to turn their bodies toward me and get stuck doing so. I decided to continue on my merry way, only to find that the second person was blocking my path, so I had no choice but to take her down. This undoubtedly prompted violent reactions from the other two, and so I hid in a bush. After the commotion, I went back and to the top of the hill, but the quest would not check and continue for me. I ran circles around them, but apparently that was not "on top of the hill". I knew, having completed this quest in the Early Access, that I was to replace the drummer after he passed out, so for no good reason, I took him down (there was no option to talk), and soon I was engaged in full-blown battle. All were taken down except the one in the center, speaking to the Holy Yam. I left the premises, hoping the quest would reset, but I saw that I had failed the quest, and after reloading the autosave (after I had failed the quest), the quest was "rediscovered", but upon coming back at night, the door would appear as locked even after clearing my perceptions, thus not allowing me to continue. In the quest book, the mission remained active, with "come back at night" checked, and the progress bar filled, but no further comments. This truly is a shame, as the Holy Yam was always one of my personal favorites, and there was never any trouble in the Early Access. I hope the developers can take a look at this and allow me to obtain my beloved Yam.
