A 7 y/o game... for how much?
lol
I can't think of any other title that maintained its release price after 7 years.
Especially one that released to a lukewarm reception

I'll think about playing your old title when the price becomes a bit more reasonable.

I agree the default price is a bit high (the price for the Deluxe edition is crazy), but it goes on sale for 75% off pretty regularly, and that's a good price for what you get (I bought it for my son a while back).

As for the "lukewarm reception"? Wasn't it getting about 80% positive reviews at launch? That's a pretty bloody good reception...

As for other titles with stupid pricing years after release, take a look at some of the Activision games...

cod games still selling at the same price as they were when they got published too
but ye i get ur point- im here only cause i randomly reminded this game existed and wow- 60$? tf
Not Steam related, but Nintendo is easily the worst offender of charging full price for old games. Firstly, they sell games from almost (Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey) 9 years ago now on Switch for $60 still. Secondly, they never ever put their first party games on sale. And last but not least, these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ regularly port old ass games from the Wii, Wii U, or 3DS that were originally $40 or $50, and then charge $60 for them. And now you got all of the ♥♥♥♥ going down with the Switch 2 dumpster fire with them charging $10 for a tech demo and $80 for Mario Kart.
