Not receiving The Saint achievement

I just completed Arthur's playthrough and was super careful to get no kills. I checked the stats all the time and they always read as zero, yet I completed the act and didn't get the achievement. I didn't use a lethal anything the entire game, I don't understand. I read that after Sally's intro the game may give it to you then but it still didn't work. I'm just so disappointed because I was so careful and didn't want to have to do back to back playthroughs as Arthur to get 100% achievement. Even as recently as December 2021 people were reporting that the achievement still worked this way but here I am Should I just try to complete the entire game without kills now and pray it works?

you have to have no kills in art. and you have to complete sally and ollie. after the game is over, the cheev will unlock. this perplexed me as well.

Ah, okay, what a relief. I saw lots of people talking about getting it as soon as they finished Arthur but it seems like it comes at different points for other people as well. I should be able to kill people as Sally and Ollie then right?

"ACHIEVEMENT - THE SAINT" settles the question. i posted to it a couple of years ago. controversy followed. it came from people "forgetting" what they did. the facts: you do not kill with art. then you MUST finish the game. the achievement will ONLY unlock AFTER the game is finished. sally and ollie can kill at will, but art must be good. hence, "the saint".

If you completed Sally and Ollie previously, then doing Arthur again with no kills will unlock the Saint right away after Arthur is completed without kills. But, if you've never played them through at least once before, then it won't unlock until after you've played them through.

You can go back to killing again with Sally and Ollie. Only Arthur counts for the achievement.

I got it with doing playthrough all the characters with no kills maybe it only unlocks if you have played through all three with no kills? Unsure if you can still achieve it through kills on the other characters though.

@grunge: read carefully.... ARTHUR = no kills and finish the game. sally and ollie do not have the restriction, they can kill. otherwise the achievement would be called "the saint(S)". it isn't... it's called "THE SAINT" (singular meaning only one). only art must be nice. sally/ollie can slaughter who they aughter. ONLY ARTHUR HAS TO BE A SAINT.
ARTHUR= no kills
SALLY = can kill at wiil
OLLIE = will kill if can
finish the game.... achievement!!!
