Should I finish the main story before the DLC?

I finished Arthur's story, Act 1. And I'm in the middle of Sally's story in Act 2.
Do I need to finish Act 2 and 3 before the DLC, to understand the context and not be spoiled?

depends which DLC
there's not really much point of the Roger Bacons story after act 1
so play the first dlc if you want
but I highly and I mean HIGHLY reccomend finishing atleast act 2 before Sally's story
I'd and DO NOT play the 3rd dlc until finishing the game

just finished the last DLC, and you will DEFINITELY want to finish the main game before playing it. there are major spoilers.
