Help with Electro-Lock Shocker

I'm unsure if this is a bug or if I just haven't found the recipe or if I need to complete a mission to unlock it, but I don't seem to be able to craft an Electro-Lock Shocker.

According to the WHF wiki I have all the items I need to craft one but the recipe has never popped up for me. I even went and put everything I'd need out of my safe and into my inventory, just in case, and no luck.

Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm pretty sure once you find one it gives you the blueprint to craft it.

I don't know what the use for the electro-lock shocker is for anyways.

The clever trap tools are used for the traps themselves but I don't see any sort of electronic locked areas, probably not in the village area and is limited to the 'city' that this game doesn't have access to.

It is used to zap the lock on the safes on the top floor of the nicer houses.

Ah, thanks! I was wondering if that might be the case. I'm also wondering if maybe I don't have the ingrediants for it. One site said you needed an officer key card so maybe that's what I'm missing. *shrug* I guess I'll figure it out. Worse comes to worse, start new game and hope for the best.

I wanted to use it to get through one of the bridges between districts so I don't have to keep taking Joy just to get to my clean water source.

If/when I get the blueprint, I'll be sure to update this post.

Your right I just tested it again and it doesn't give you the blueprint.

I think I remember now. I picked up a constables keycard off one of the bobbies during the blood in the streets quest and that unlocked it because you actually need one to craft it. The wiki is wrong on the crafting recipe.

Ah! That was actually something I had wondered as two different sites had two different recipes for the thing. Thanks for letting me know so I know for sure. ^_^

You can buy the Electro-Lock Shockers from the Shady Dealer, and you can get the schematics for it from the mission Popped Popper, where you need to require the boiler suit (Also from the Shady dealer)
