Simon Says game
I've played the simon says game several times and everytime the plateforms do not light up. It said to stand on 2 and only 1 lit up. Then I played it again and it said to step on 3 and only 2 showed up. Very annoying to deal with!

How much damage do you take from the shockers there?
Allie Monsta Aug 5, 2016 @ 9:31pm
a lot. It kills me after a few shocks.

I've done the last one where you stand on them all but it still killed me anyway :/

Well the point is that 'No one won simon says', it's in one of the dialogue for a quest to cross the bridge, and for you to actually play it means it's a trap for any 'smart' downers trying to get through.

I've never gotten this bridge, I'm guessing a bug could easily be involved. However maybe the rubber suit could help. Doesn't it reduce damage from electrical sources?

Rubber Suit (which is not a guaranteed event anymore) and healing balms, but I have a feeling this bridge is more difficult than the others.

You're guaranteed to get zapped at least once, which is why I asked about the damage amounts. They might have to tone down the damage and or make them charge slower.

Ya I thought it was tied to that same quest and I knew from before that I needed to find out who won to tell the guard. Porblem is, the bridge with the gaurd changed so I don't have someone to talk to to begin the quest.

I entered the bridge crossing where the gaurd used to be from the backside and entered the area. Now there is a gaurd watching the inside and I thought that maybe he was the person but he wouldn't say a word.

It was just very confusing. So if I'm not supposed to win the game, which does make sense, then how am I supposed to progress through the quest that is asking me to beat the constable?

You and Pennwick have some great ideas. I'll have to try the rubber suit on and see if it helps. I'm stuck at the faraday's lab with the appearance bug already so I kind of stopped playing last night. Definitely need to try putting on the suit and see if it helps. Thanks for the idea!

I do fine on it until the last "stand on all platforms" part. Time always runs out before I can sprint to them all and the shockers don't stop until I'm dead and respawn outside.

Ya see they don't all turn on for me. The lights only turn on for a few platforms and thats it.

no, it's bugged or random. the first time i encountered the game no lights lit and it killed me in one shot. the second time i encountered it i completed the game and continued across the bridge.

Ok awesome. That's good to know someone had some sucess with that game. I'm adding it to my list of bug or glitches.

yeah i posted my first experience with the game in the bug forum, asking if it was the intended experience to just be killed by the game with no chance of winning, but it received no dev response. first encounter i was playing permadeath so it made me a bit salty for a good minute, bug or not lol that made me pretty mad. so on the next newgame i played without permadeath so that i could test it and i passed on the first attempt. which makes me think the game just killing the player is not intended.
