Worth buying in 2020?
Hi, I just saw "WHF" is on sale at one store (regular and deluxe edition) and I thought, should I purchase it.
In the past I decided to pass on this game, due to developers D moves, like announcing paid Season Pass before even releasing full game (and patching bugs).
Reviews reveals that fixes and other stuff which should be in the main game, are in fact in Season Pass.
I can see that DLC's separately also didn't sell well - is it because they were bad? Or because devs got so big wave of hate on self that barely anyone wanted pay more?

After almost 2 years I'm back with the same question - Is it worth to buy, or not?

Regards and thanks in advance.

I think so. It has a lot of charm going for it. I'm glad I got it.

Pop a joy and buy the game.

I picked it up on a whim and (~six hours in) I'm really enjoying it. There are still a few technical issues and the framerate isn't stable, but overlook that and it's got a lot going for it.

I got it finally too. In a free time I will download it and try.
If nothing has changed, I will make sure to at least give proper feedback at store page as well.

I own the base game plus all DLC with the season pass...I got everything on sale, btw, and I'm glad I bought it. This is hands down one of my favorite games. There is a lot more content in the main game than people give it credit for, meaning, they aren't spending enough time getting to know the environment and what it has to offer. It really is a great game and has a very intriguing story.

Absolutely NOT - unless you get it for super cheap.
£70 asking price for the entire game + DLC? Absolutely ridiculously greedy from the publishers. The gameplay is full of halfbaked ideas and pointless RNG + survival mechanics that bogs down an otherwise stellar story, art style, and setting.

Oh yeah, NOT $60 worth, no way. Wait for a sale.

Yes! If you can get it on sale, i say go for it. I personally enjoyed this game very much. But I'm also a bit biased because I LOVE the time period it takes place (1964) with all the fashion, interior decoration, lingo, etc. I felt the whole Joy concept was interesting as well.

I'm asking the same question, but $60 just seems too much for such a risky game.. maybe $20 at the very most

The game is awesome, next sale grab it and the dlc. I love everything about this game and hope there will be a sequel of some sort.
