The DLCs are a strange proposition. They are all linear quests (no open world at any stage), there is no crafting and only "We all fall down" has skill upgrades. All in all, with about 80 hours I sunk into main game, the DLCs took about 8.

The first two - they have signature WHF writing, boldly exploring stuff most games chicken-out on these days, but the stories have very little connection to the world of We Happy Few. Each takes about 2 hours, game mechanics are very few, and you can probably just watch them on YouTube.

"We all fall down", the last one, completes the story. It mostly plays like Dishonored, though with a bit more unavoidable fights. Combat, stealth and travesal feel quite satisfactory. Takes about 4 hours to complete and I really recommend it.

It's strange how the DLCs are a different kind of game from the main game, since they are basically linear FPS while the main game is open world with side missions, gear, and crafting.

Honestly, the Season Pass is only $20 that's not too bad but you can also purchase the DLC packs separately for $8 each. I personally REALLY enjoyed the Nick Lightbearer DLC; that was my favorite. The Roger & James DLC was OK but I felt like i was just playing through it for more story, not necessarily because I enjoyed it & the ending to that one was weird. The Victoria Byng DLC was better than Roger & James not not as fun as Lightbearer. I liked how the Victoria DLC was essentially wrapping up all the events from the main story. It was like once you completed Arthur, Sally, & Ollie storylines, then what? There are still people in Wellington Wells just getting high off Joy. That is where the Victoria DLC comes into play; wraps up the entire game. So yeah I'd say Lightbearer & Victoria are best DLCs. You're not missing too much on Roger & James imo.

Depends on your taste and what you're looking for/enjoying.

I personally found 2 of the 3 DLC's very good, and one of those 2 is better than the other.
